Prices – Reservations
First of all, regarding prices – reservations, it is reported that prices include VAT. On the other hand, they do not include the tax on stays in tourist establishments, also known as the tourist tax. Because this is a tax that taxes people’s stay or enjoyment of the accommodation service in tourist establishments and facilities, which is applied in some countries, cities or tourist areas.
Furthermore, it is important to know that the objective of the tax is to obtain resources to nourish the so-called “Tourism Promotion Fund”, created to finance policies for the promotion, preservation and development of infrastructure and tourist activities.
Finally, it is a rate that in this proposal is usually between € 0,5 and 2 / person / establishment. Likewise, it must be remembered that it is a tax that the establishment charges directly on the client, not on the Travel Agency.
